About Us
Our company was founded in 1997 with the aim of making good use of our Father’s, Gábor Szilágyi’s expertise and professional experience of several decades in the areas where he had gained an unquestionable reputation. When we joined none of us was at all indifferent to whether we would use our knowledge and skills as an employee in a foreign environment or whether we together would start up building a family enterprise which promised that together with the professionals who had worked with our father for years at the Rocla factory of the Budapest Waterworks we may establish a construction company with the backbone of manufacturing.
In the beginning we started with 20 workers on a rented site at the BVM Factory in Budapest. What provided great security at the start was the supporting cooperation of our father’s two colleagues and friends, Gyula Reichart and Gábor Szőllősi, who were key figures in civil engineering then. With their orders they were able to greatly help the start-up company, as they knew that they may always count on our father’s commitments.
Over the past 25 years, together with our colleagues, we managed to build a company where we now work in our own factory, in our own office building and employ 50 people. We have built a company that is considered a reliable, knowledgeable professional partner by our customers.
During the 25 years of our existence the name of AGM Concrete Ltd. has become synonymous with the sure solution of tasks requiring new and specific, out-of-the-common challenges. Synonymous with the highest quality of manufactured reinforced concrete products and professional reliability. It fills us with pride that over the years such specialists have joined us whose professional knowledge and positive personality further strengthened the trust and the professional recognition of the company.
These years spent together since the foundation of AGM Concrete Ltd. are looked upon as a Gift of Life by all three of us. Experiencing the difficulties and later on the results extremely intensified the relation among the three of us. There has been one thing we could every minute be a 100 percent sure of: no difficulty of any sort may occur in the solution of which we could not count on each other under any circumstances.
